We Past Present Future Others

OTHERS

Medical Records encompasses the entire scope of healthcare information in all media forms. The failure of paper records has pushed the dictation of medical records into computerization. It includes patient's medical history, medication, lab test results, X-ray images etc.The traditional generalization of medical records is that they are only involved in the storage of patient's information but in fact they facilitate the process, communication, security and presentation of these informations.

With the pace of technology visibly not slowing down, the prevalence and adoption of EMR have a substantial positive impact.

Besides the technological development, healthcare providers should embrace themselves for a cultural shift from paperless to computerisation and possibly to advance tools and gadgets of medical records in near future.
